Edit a Performance Review Template
Edit template details
When necessary, you can edit Performance Review Template details such as name, review type, and description. You can also set notifications for when a performance review is submitted.
To edit details of a Performance Review Template:
Go to Performance Review Templates
Click the Edit next to Start a Review on the respective template
Select the Settings tab
Make any changes you need to Name, Review Type, or Description
Set Notifications if you want to notify others when a review has been submitted
Click the Update button to save your changes
Edit template schedule
To add a new or edit the schedule of a Performance Review Template:
Go to Performance Review Templates
Click the Edit next to Start a Review on the respective template
Select the Schedule tab
To add a new review schedule, select + Add Schedule
Select Once-off or Recurring
For Once-off: Set Who does this apply to?, When to assign?, and When to Notify?
For Recurring: Set Who does this apply to?, Start Date, Repeat cadence, and When to Notify
To edit an existing schedule, click Edit
Make any changes Who does this apply to?, When to assign?, and When to Notify?
Click Update or Create to save your changes
Edit a template page
To edit a page in a review template:
Go to Performance Review Templates
Click the Edit next to Start a Review on the respective template
Select the Template tab
Click the ⋮ button
Click Edit from the list
Edit the page name, attach a file, or description
Click the Update button to save your changes
Edit a template question
To edit a question in a review template:
Go to Performance Review Templates
Click the Edit next to Start a Review on a template
Select the Template tab
Find the relevant question and click Edit underneath it
Make changes to the question, type, whether it's skippable, who it applies to, any description or files
Save changes by clicking the Update button
Archive a Performance Review Template
When a Performance Review Template is made inactive, it will no longer appear for employees to complete on the mobile app, or for managers to send to employees.
Reports can still be accessed for inactive Performance Review Templates.
An inactive Performance Review Template will also remain under the Manage Performance Review Templates tab and can be reactivated at any time.
To make a review template inactive:
Go to Performance Review Templates
Click the Edit next to Start a Review on the respective template
Select the Settings tab
Untick the checkbox next to Active
Save changes with the Update button
To reactivate a review template:
Go to Performance Review Templates
Click the Edit next to Start a Review on the respective template
Select the Settings tab
Re-tick the checkbox next to Active
Save changes with the Update button
Delete a Performance Review Template
When a Performance Review Template is deleted, it can no longer be sent or accessed. Deleted Template cannot be reactivated. Any reviews completed with the template can still be accessed.
To delete a review template:
Find the relevant review under the Manage Templates tab
Click the ⋮ button next to Edit
Click Delete from the list
Confirm the action in the pop-up menu with the Delete button
