How to configure and schedule notifications you want receive from Workforce

Set which Workforce notifications are sent to you and how. For admins, you can schedule notifications to be sent to you.

Manage Your Notification Settings

To configure your notifications, click the notification bell and select Notification Settings. Alternatively, hover over your profile picture and select notification preferences.

You will be taken to the following page, on which you can configure your notification settings. Tick whether you want to receive push notifications, email notifications, or both, for each notification type. Leave unticked if you do not want to receive any notification for the event.

Be sure to expand the 'more notifications' menu to set your preferences for each notification type. The types of notifications you can configure and receive will depend on your permission level.


Schedule Notifications

As well as receiving real-time notifications, you can also schedule when you would like to be notified about certain events.

Important: To schedule notifications, you require admin-level permissions.

You can schedule the following notification types:

  • My Qualification’s Expiring

  • Pay Run No STP

  • Pay Run Hasn’t Been Emailed

  • Superannuation Due

  • HR Training Log Incomplete

  • HR Training Expiry

  • Unsigned Contract

To schedule a notifications, click the notification bell on the navigation menu and select Notification Settings. Alternatively, hover over your profile picture and select notification preferences:

Select Scheduled Notification Preferences > + Add Scheduled Notification:

From here, you can select the type of notification you want to schedule and when you want to receive it. You don't need to specify whether you want to be notified before or after the event—that's inferred from the notification type.

After clicking submit, you can choose whether you want to receive push notifications, email notifications, or both and can easily edit your scheduled notifications at any time. You'll then receive a system notification in My Notifications at the specified time and a push/email notification per your settings.
