What is Incidents?

The Workforce Incidents feature offers you a centralised location to record and manage injuries, illnesses, and other workforce events so that you can document all relevant details and ensure your business remains compliant with safety protocols.

When should I use Incidents?

We recommend using Incidents to record information associated with events such as:

  • falls/slips/trips

  • cuts

  • burns

  • vehicle accidents

  • manual handling strains

How does Incidents work in Workforce HR?

Once you've enabled the Workforce HR add-on, you'll have access to create an incident for a specific employee.

Incidents are recorded using a structured format that includes the following sets of information:

  1. Incident Details: Capture basic information about the incident (date, location, individuals involved).

  2. Incident Summary: Provide a summary of what occurred.

  3. Injury Details (if applicable): Record specifics regarding any injuries sustained.

  4. Evidence: Upload or describe evidence related to the incident.

  5. Witnesses: List any witnesses to the incident and include a witness statement.

  6. Property/Equipment Damage: Document any damage to property or equipment.

These are able to be configured which will ensure that your incident reports accurately reflect your organisation’s processes. Learn more here.
