Schedule can be personalized to display information the way you like. There are various filtering options which make this possible. This article will outline how to configure your schedule view, choose the stats you wish to display, and use schedule reports to assist how you schedule.

Select from the below option:

Schedule View:

Located at the top of your schedule are several filtering options to customize the way you view your schedule. The filters give you the ability to set a schedule view period of weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly, monthly or customize your own.

There's also the option to group by team, stack shift cards, hide and display information and more. It's recommended to test options to see what you like best.

You're also able to change the order your employees are shown by clicking the following button in the top left of your schedule. This order can only be changed in staff view and will not be able to be changed in daily schedules.

Schedule Statistics:

Altering the display of your primary schedule stats is a great way to customize your schedule. From the sidebar located on the left of your schedule, click on the schedule stats, and select your preferred statistics from the drop-downs.

Schedule Reports:

Utilize wage calculations before publishing a schedule to make proactive, informed decisions on who to schedule on and when.

To view the cost breakdown of a schedule:

  1. From the schedule, switch to the Reporting function.

When reporting on a schedule, there are multiple filters that can be utilized to craft a report reflective of business goals:

  • Stat determines the key metric you would like to analyze. Options include shift count, shift costs, average hourly rate, schedule hours, wage as a % of revenue, sales per labor hour and predicted sales. The option selected determines what appears in the graph. All stats will be displayed in the table beneath the graph.

  • Time Grouping determines the time increments along the X axis in the graph and as rows on the table. Options include by date, week, and by day of week. The duration of the report should be specified in the time and duration fields, located above the time grouping filter.

  • Second Grouping permits data to be grouped in addition to time based increments. Options include grouping data by employee, team or location. 'None' can be selected if no further grouping is required.

  • Aggregate allows data to be displayed as a sum or an average.

  • Filter enables a specific point of data to be isolated. This field could be used to report on a particular employee, as an example.

Once filtered to the desired output, data can be downloaded as a csv by clicking the 'Download as csv' button at the bottom of the report.

Schedule On Costs:

If you want to view on costs such as payroll tax and superannuation in your schedule cost, you can do this by configuring on costs.

Go to the drop down next to your initials in the top right hand corner, then select Settings.

Navigator to the tab titled On-cost Config.

Name the configuration. This is important if you want to set up multiple on costs for different costs, and possibly different rates for different locations such as payroll tax.

Select the staff that the on cost applies to. Some employee classifications may not apply to the on costs and this is where you can filter them out.

Select the locations that the cost applies to. This is particularly useful for payroll tax where businesses are setting different rates for operations in different states.

Enter the percentage rate that applies. If you were looking to apply 14.25%, you would enter 14.25

Viewing on the Schedule

To view the total cost of your schedule including on costs, navigate to Schedule across the top toolbar and select Current Schedule.

Use the arrow in the stats display in the top left hand corner to select which stats you want to display

You can choose any combination of three stats to display.

Change Schedule Start Day:

You can alter the start day of your schedule by heading to settings which are found by hovering over Settings > All Settings. Select View all schedule settings, and click 'Show Advanced Settings'.
