Dashboard: Live Insights & Wage Tracker

Learn how to monitor live sales, wage costs, staffing levels, and labour efficiency using the Live Insights & Wage Tracker widget.

About Live Insights & Wage Tracker

The Live Insights & Wage Tracker widget combines live sales data from your point-of-sale (POS) system with live wage calculations in Workforce.com.

This allows you to monitor labour costs and sales performance in real time, helping you make informed staffing and operational decisions throughout the day.

You can use the widget to:

  • Monitor wage costs as they accrue throughout the day

  • Compare staffing levels against sales performance

  • Track Wage % and Sales Per Labour Hour (SPLH)

  • View historical performance from previous days

  • Identify when staffing adjustments may be required

Who can view Live Insights & Wage Tracker?

Managers can view data for the Teams and Locations they manage.

📝 Important to note: If a manager does not have permission to view certain employee wages, labour costs and wage percentages will only include employees they can access.

  • Wage % – Labour cost as a percentage of sales

  • SPLH – Sales Per Labour Hour

These metrics update automatically throughout the day as sales and employee time accumulate.

Available views include:

  • Staff Count – Number of employees working

  • Staff Cost – Labour costs accrued throughout the day

  • Include Oncosts – Include or exclude oncosts when viewing labour costs

The staffing graph can display:

  • Actual Staff

  • Rostered Staff

Use this information to compare scheduled staffing levels against actual staffing activity.

Sales information

The Sales section displays live sales and demand information received from your POS integration.

You can:

  • View live sales throughout the day

Predicted sales are calculated using an average of the previous three equivalent trading days.

📝 Important to note: Sales information will only appear after your revenue streams and DataStreams have been configured.
