Why Aren’t My Jobs Showing on Indeed?

This guide explains why jobs published in Workforce may not appear on Indeed, how Indeed reviews job feeds, and what to check or do if your job isn’t visible after 72 hours.

Why are my jobs not posted on Indeed?

Workforce sends your jobs to Indeed within 2 hours of the job being published. However, Indeed conducts an internal review to ensure the job meets their quality standards before it becomes visible on their site. Indeed also refreshes our job feed approximately every 72 hours, so it can take up to 72 hours for jobs to appear.

Workforce does not control which jobs appear on Indeed.Indeed has full control over job eligibility and visibility on their platform.

📝 Note: if you cannot see your job posting on Indeed, you can check your Indeed Company Page to see if the job is listed. If there are no jobs populating on the Indeed Company Page, you should contact Indeed Client Success.

Check Indeed’s guidelines

Indeed’s job posting requirements may change over time. We recommend reviewing:

If your job isn’t visible after 72 hours, check the following:

  • Your company is classified as a staffing/recruiting company
Staffing-based companies are not eligible for free (organic) postings. Jobs must be sponsored to appear on Indeed.

  • You are already posting directly to Indeed
Indeed’s “one-source policy” means they may reject Workforce-fed jobs if you have posted directly before. Contact Indeed and request that Workforce be set as your primary posting source.

  • Your job is missing a full location
Most job boards (including Indeed) require a full location to publish job listings.

  • Your Indeed account is marked “Sponsored Only”
In this case, free job postings sent from Workforce won’t be published. You’ll need to contact Indeed to resolve this.

  • Your application form may breach Indeed’s PII policy
Ensure your application process does not request unnecessary Personally Identifiable Information (PII) at the initial stage.

It can be helpful to contact your Indeed account manager every few months to review job quality standards and account activity.

How do I contact Indeed?

Indeed supports employers directly. If you have an Indeed account, the best option is to contact your dedicated representative. Otherwise, use the support form or log in and click “Need Help?” at the top of the page.

Template for visibility requests

“I am a client of Workforce, an Integrated ATS with Indeed, and my jobs are included in their comprehensive XML feed. I would like Workforce to be my primary posting source. I need a CS rep to review my jobs to determine if they are suitable for organic visibility per Indeed’s Quality Standards.”
