Clearing your cache & updating Google Chrome

After updates are released for Workforce, sometimes your browser cache may become out of date. In some scenarios, this requires you to clear your browser cache manually to get the latest updates. Below are links and step-by-step instructions showing how to clear your cache for several popular browsers, however, note that the best-supported browser for Workforce is Google Chrome.

Lastly, remember to refresh all open tabs of Workforce after clearing your cache!

  1. Click on the menu button in the upper right

  2. Select "More tools"

  3. Click on "Clear browsing data..."

  4. Make sure you have Cookies and Cached files selected

  5. Click on the "Clear data" button

Clearing browsing data

  1. Click on the menu button in the upper right

  2. Select "History"

  3. Select "Clear Recent History"

  4. Make sure "Cache" is selected

  5. Click on the "Clear Now" button

  6. Refresh all open tabs of Workforce

  1. Click on the menu button in the upper right

  2. Select "Settings"

  3. Under "Clear browsing data", click on "choose what to clear"

  4. Make sure that "cached data and files" is selected

  5. Click on the "Clear" button

  6. Refresh all open tabs of Workforce

  1. Click on the gear menu button in the upper right

  2. Select "Safety"

  3. Click on "Delete browsing history..."

  4. Make sure that "Temporary Internet files and website files" is selected

  5. Click on the Delete button

  6. Refresh all open tabs of Workforce

Apple Safari

  1. Click on the Safari menu

  2. Select "Preferences..."

  3. Select the "Advanced" tab

  4. Check the "Show Develop menu in the menu bar"

  5. Close the Preferences dialog

  6. Click on the Develop menu

  7. Click on "Empty Caches"

  8. Refresh all open tabs of Workforce

Update Google Chrome:

  1. Go to settings

  2. About

  3. Chrome should automatically update

  4. Relaunch Chrome
