Custom Fields is a powerful, fully-customizable feature that enables you to create your own forms. You can use it to label Employee, Qualifications, Locations, Schedules, Shifts, Teams, and Custom Objects.

How to create your own Custom Fields

  1. Go to Settings > Customize > Customize Native Objects > Config

  2. Choose which object to assign it to by clicking on the appropriate tab.

  3. Create your fields by filling out the Name and Type fields.

  4. Decide who the field is visible and editable by.

  5. Choose the data type this field will collect. Supported types are currency, text, long text, date, number, and yes/no questions.

How Custom Fields will appear

Employee Tab

All fields here will appear on the Employee Profile under the Additional tab.

Schedule Tab

Fields here work exactly the same as the Employee tab, only they appear on shift cards on the schedule.

This is how it will appear on the shift.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Custom Fields is only available on Schedule Overview, not Schedule (see below)

Team Tab

Fields here work exactly the same as the Employee and Shift tab, only they appear on Team pages (below).
