How to activate the Birthdays and Work Anniversaries report on your dashboard

How to add the Birthday and Work anniversary widget to your dashboard

  1. Access Workforce.com in a web browser by logging in at my.workforce.com

  2. Navigate to your dashboard and click Add Widget to open the Widget Library

  3. Locate the Birthdays & Anniversaries widget and click + Add to select which dashboard to add it to

How it works

The dates in the widget are based on the date of birth and employment start date on the Personal Details tab of each employee's profile in Workforce.com. Ensure that these fields are accurately filled out for all employees, as missing data will result in those employees not appearing in the widget.

Accessing a Complete List of Birthdays and Anniversaries For a full list of employee birthdays and work anniversaries, you can generate the Employee Information CSV report. This report includes the Date of Birth and Employment Start Date for every employee. Steps:

  1. Navigate to the reporting section of Workforce.com.

  2. Select the Employee Information CSV report from the available options.

  3. Download the report to view the complete data.

Setting Up Alerts Using iCal Feeds

To receive alerts for birthdays and work anniversaries, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Birthdays and Work Anniversaries widget on your Workforce.com dashboard.

  2. Click on "View all" to access the subscription options.

  3. Select one or both of the following options:

    • "Subscribe to birthdays (iCal)"

    • "Subscribe to employment anniversaries (iCal)"

  4. Copy the iCal URL provided.

  5. Add the iCal URL to your preferred calendar application (e.g., Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar).

  6. Configure reminders or alerts within your calendar app to receive notifications before each event.

By subscribing to iCal feeds and setting up alerts in your calendar app, you can ensure timely reminders for birthdays and work anniversaries.
