What's covered in this guide:
How it works
Workforce.com integrates with Level to enable Earned Wage Access (On-Demand Pay) and Payroll Savings for employees.
Through this integration:
Employee and earnings data is shared with Level
Level calculates how much employees can access based on approved hours
Employees can choose to access a portion of their earned wages before payday
Any early payments are reconciled during the payroll payout process
This allows employers to offer early pay without changing how payroll is calculated.

Employees can access a portion of their earned wages before payday
Withdrawals are optional and initiated by the employee
Limits and any applicable fees are set by Level

Payday process
When payroll is run:
Each employee’s total pay is processed as normal
Payments are routed via a Level splitting account as part of the integration
Level reconciles any early withdrawals
The remaining balance is sent to the employee
This means payroll calculations remain unchanged, while payment adjustments are handled during the payout process.
📝 Important: Payroll teams do not need to manually adjust payslips or deduct early payments, these are handled through the Level integration.
Offboarding
If a termination date is added in Workforce.com:
Level is notified
On-Demand Pay access is disabled
The employee account enters the closure process
📝 Important: Ensure termination dates are entered promptly to prevent continued access to early pay.
