What the Attendance Report shows
The Attendance Report provides insights into how staff are performing against their rostered hours and shifts. It includes:
Worked vs scheduled hours
On-time performance
Attendance percentages
Leave and clocked shifts
Bradford Factor
Payroll ID and employee details
💡 Tip: This report is especially useful for identifying extended absences, lateness, and general reliability trends across your workforce.
How to run the Attendance Report
Where to find the Attendance Report:
Go to Reports in the top navigation.
Select Time & Attendance.
Click Anomaly Detection, then choose Attendance Report.
Apply the filters you want to use (e.g., date range, teams).
Click GENERATE to view your report results.
📝 Important to note:
Large organisations may experience slow load times when selecting all teams. Try narrowing filters for faster results.
Filters you can use
You can tailor your report using the following filters:
Columns to display
Choose which data fields you want included in your report.
Date range
Select from preset date options (e.g., Last Week, This Month) or choose custom dates.
Payroll team
Filter by specific payroll teams in your organisation.
Teams worked in
Useful if staff work across multiple teams and you only want to analyse certain areas.
Team groups
Filter by grouped departments or business units.
Award tags
View attendance trends for staff on specific awards or classifications.
Positions
Limit the report to one or more staff roles (e.g., Barista, Duty Manager).
Shift & Hours Data
Rostered Shifts — Number of shifts the employee was scheduled to work.
Rostered Hours — Total hours rostered for the selected date range.
Worked Shifts — Number of shifts actually worked.
Worked Hours — Hours worked based on timesheets.
Leave Shifts — Number of rostered shifts covered by leave.
Leave Hours — Approved leave hours during the period.
Clocked Shifts — Shifts the employee clocked into (even if not rostered).
Attendance Insights
On Time % — Percentage of shifts where the employee clocked in on time.
Attendance % (including vacated shifts) — Percentage of shifts the employee attended, including shifts vacated by management.
Rostered Hours minus Worked Hours — Highlights under- or over-worked hours.
Bradford Factor — A measure of frequent short absences.
