Timeclock Updates & API Migration

This guide explains two critical upcoming updates required for continued use of Workforce.com

💡 Important: Both changes must be completed by October 27th.


1. Timeclock App Update

Requirement

  • All timeclock apps must be updated to version 6.2.26 or higher.

  • Devices below this version will stop working after October 27th.

How to Check Versions

  1. Log in to your Workforce account.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Timeclocks.

  3. Review the list of registered timeclocks.

    • Any device running below 6.2.26 needs to be updated.

How to Update

  • On iOS or Android devices:

    1. Open the App Store or Google Play Store.

    2. Search for Workforce Timeclock.

    3. Tap Update.

  • On dedicated hardware devices:

    • Ensure the device is connected to Wi-Fi.

    • Restart the device to trigger the update.

    • If needed, reinstall the app.

Verification

  • After updating, return to the Timeclocks page in your Workforce dashboard.

  • Confirm that all devices now show version 6.2.26 or higher.


2. API Migration to Workforce.com

What’s Changing?

  • On October 27th, all API endpoints will migrate from the Tanda domain to the Workforce.com domain.

  • After this date, calls to the old tanda.co domain will no longer work.

Current vs New Endpoints

  • ✅ Already compliant:

    https://my.workforce.com/api/v2/
  • ❌ Needs updating:

    https://my.tanda.co/api/v2/

Important:

Action Required

  • Update your integration to use the Workforce.com domain before October 27th.

  • Test integrations after making the change to ensure smooth operation.
